FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The DFC series removes potentially harmful contamination from air compressors. Contaminants such as carbon and other debris generated during operation can cause oxygen concentrator valves to malfunction. The DFC filters provide HEPA filtration to protect the valves and help improve the operation of the oxygen concentrator.
Pentair’s proprietary high-temperature filter capsule construction provides exceptional temperature compatibility, making the DFC series suitable for specific applications in which oxygen concentrator air compressors operate at high temperatures. We test each and every filter rigorously to guarantee the highest quality in the industry.
Certified according to the ISO 13485 quality management system for medical devices, Pentair also manufactures in accordance with the most stringent FDA requirements. The extended surface area of HEPA filter media removes more than 99.97% of particles 0.3 µm in size and larger, while maintaining low resistance to compressor air flow. This helps to maintain proper valve performance, extends molecular sieve life, and reduces sound levels for additional patient comfort. The filter media in the DFC series adequately protects the patient and the oxygen concentrator valves against contamination.
